Don Mills Flyers Defenseman Matthew Pittman Selected 15th Overall in 2026 OHL Under-18 Priority Selection

The Don Mills Flyers are proud to congratulate Matthew Pittman on being selected 15th overall by the Flint Firebirds in the 2026 OHL Under-18 Priority Selection, held on June 9, 2026.

Pittman, a 2008-born defenseman from Toronto, spent the 2025-26 season with the Don Mills Flyers U18 AAA program in the GTHL, recording four goals and eight assists over 32 games. At 6'5" and 225 pounds, he possesses the size and physical presence that OHL teams covet in a young defenseman.

"Matthew came to us out of AA hockey and quickly established himself as one of the best defensemen in the league," said Spence Kirton, Don Mills Flyers U18 Head Coach. "His development this season was exceptional and this selection is a well-deserved reward for the work he put in."

Being selected 15th overall places Pittman among the top defensive prospects in his birth year in the province, with 52 players chosen from 32 different teams across Ontario in this year's Under-18 Priority Selection.
